Current Event Journal
Assignment Directions
You will complete a current event journal related to the topics being discussed during class. The article must be less than 30 days old at the time you are writing your journal entry. The article may come from a magazine, newspaper, web-article, or other as approved by the instructor.
Each journal is worth 10 points.
For each entry you will include (using the provided template) a journal entry, a copy of the rubric (on the next page), and a copy or print-out of the article.

· First Paragraph: Describe the main ideas of the article, who it was written by, where the article came from.
