Research and Prepare a Presentation on Professional- Civil Engineering Ethics
The objective of this homework is for student to learn and understand Civil Engineering ethics – what is it, why is it important, what are the benefits of having a strong engineering management ethics (and the negative impacts of not having one).
Students will gain knowledge and understand engineering management ethics through the assigned reading(s) for this homework and research for this homework, and by articulating their thoughts by preparing a team presentation.
As a guide, the engineering professions include but not limited to: mechanical, electrical, chemical, computer science and its related fields, biomedical, environmental & sustainability, telecommunications (including wireless), etc.
There won’t be any actual presentation of this homework material by the student but the exercise to prepare a presentation and submit it as the homework deliverable, which will be graded.
The student will prepare a MS PPT presentation on the above topic based on these suggested readings and additional research:
- Chapter 16 in the text book (Engineering Ethics)
