In relation to discrimination law, do you think that the current list of protected attributes is suitably comprehensive, goes too far, or does not go far enough? Why or why not? In your discussion you may also want to consider legal exemptions to discriminatory conduct.
This is a straight-forward topic. You could answer it holistically and discuss protected attributes and how they differ across the states OR you may decide to narrow the focus to one attribute (just say you’re doing that in the introduction). There is lots of good academic information around and the Sappideen et al. textbook is good here too. There are many websites from the various state and federal agencies dealing with discrimination that provide information, but try to add academic material as well.
