Discussion 1: Employee Engagement
Have you ever completed an Employee Engagement Survey? If yes, did your organization hold feedback meetings to share survey results? Further, did the company make any changes based on the survey results? Incorporate two peer reviewed articles in addition to our required readings to share why clear feedback and communication is so critical during the employee engagement survey process. Be sure to emphasize the impact on employee performance and morale. Post should be at least 300 words.
Discussion 2: Performance Feedback
As illustrated in our required articles (Harbour, 2009; Theriou & Chatzoglou, 2008) and other readings, clear and effective performance feedback is a critical component of performance management. Detail three key tips that you would share with a new manager on how to most effectively provide feedback. Then, provide three tips you might share with a new subordinate on how to receive and deliver feedback. Provide a rationale for the selection of each tip. Finally, describe the larger thrust of your approach supported by at least one peer reviewed article, in addition to our required weekly readings. Post should be at least 300 words.
