Nursing-personal career development plan
Students in this course are embarking on a path to advance their nursing career. In order to transition effectively, students are to develop a plan for their chosen career path. Students should interview a nurse in the same or similar position to which the student aspires. This must be a position requiring a BSN or higher degree. Included in the personal career development plan should be short-term and long-term goals, selection of a mentor, and information specific to transitioning into the chosen role. Finding balance in life, between work in nursing, school, and personal lives; it is important to care for yourself. The personal career development plan should also include strategies to care for self and promote success in the RN-BSN program, including a study plan, time management plan, and stress reduction strategies.Students in this course are embarking on a path to advance their nursing career.
