The crime scene area is a combined commercial/residential area. A canvas of the neighborhood on the night of the crime produced minimal results. The vast majority of those contacted either were not home or were unwilling to speak to the police. Of those who did speak to the police, most saw or heard nothing.
A canvas of ie commercial establishments also produced negative results. The police did not discover any security videos of the actual crime or its immediate aftermath. Tonight, you are receiving a number of police reports. These reports consist of witness statements, a physical report on 4e livery cab and a summary of the initial
ballistics, fingerprint and pattern investigations.
Finally, you have been advised that Mr. Cmz, al4ough still in critical condition, is now expected to survive. Although Cruz is heavily sedated, his doctors indicate that he is able to communicate and is willing to cooperate in your investigation.
