How many critical incidents have to be linked to the residential?
A.
A minimum of one – but could be both. You can use the Business
Game and also your own personal work experiences for the second
critical incident. If you did not attend the Residential, please use
the Business Game for your first Critical Incident.

Can you use your Johari Window as one of your toolkits?
A.
No, it isn’t a toolkit but you could use it to support a toolkit
and/or collate findings if appropriate to one of your critical
incidents.

Is it appropriate to use APEL as a toolkit?
A.
No, it is a process, not a toolkit.

How do you score the cultural intelligence questionnaire (Including
international orientation)
A.
There isn’t an overall scoring system. You should use it to
identify the areas where you need further development

Is there a minimum number of references?
A.
No, it is definitely quality over quantity.

What format should the work be presented in?
A.
10% of your marks are available for professional presentation so you
must ensure that you do present your work professionally. It is
recommended that you use a font such as Arial or Times New Roman in
sizes 11 or 12.

How do I submit my work?
A.
You must submit your assessment online via the Turnitin site which is
available in the Assessment Folder for Emotional and Cultural
Intelligence on the BlackBoard site. We have included in the folder
a set of instructions on how to submit your assignment online. The
front page of your assignment should include your name, student
number, module code and the name of your tutor. Please look on your
timetable and make sure you know the name of your tutor and how to
spell the name correctly. It is not an anonymous assignment.
