2. Search the Web for statements on the need to reform the NLRA. Try to find pro-business and pro-union perspectives. What are the important issues? Why?
3. Find and explore the Web sites for the AFL—CIO and Change to Win. In what ways are the messages and strategies of the two federations similar? Are they different? Are workers better off when the labor movement has single, unified federation or multiple, competing national federations?
4. Go to the Global Compact Website (https://www.unglobalcompact.org/) and explore various statements and materials about the compact. What do you think of this Global Compact? Are the objectives laudable? If so, are there better alternative methods for achieving them? Do companies violate human rights by investing in countries with poor human rights records?
