Task description:
1. The literature review should be carried out in an academic manner. This includes a comprehensive search of key databases (Medline, PubMed and Cinahl) as well as other literature (eg: Google Scholar).
2. Groups should choose a minimum of 5 academic journal articles from the literature search from which to inform their research
3. Students must use the following headings:
· Introduction (Introduce your reader to the topic)
· Objectives (What are you planning to do/find out and why?)
· Methods (How will you go about performing your literature search- eg which data bases did you search and what search terms did you use?)
· Results/ key findings (What are the key and up to date findings on your topic as drawn from your chosen journal articles?)
· Current strategies (What is the role of the nurse in supporting children and families around your chosen topic-with evidence from the literature?) (200-300)
· Conclusions (sum up the key findings of your literature review)
· References (a minimum of 5 references is required for this assignment.
