Presentation Submission:
• You should use Powerpoint or Prezi and the final
version of this needs to be uploaded to the
submission portal on Moodle by 9am on the
morning of Monday 19th May 2020
• Any submissions that are received later than
this time will have marks deducted, as per the
submission guidelines covered in section 11 of
this guide
Marking and feedback:
• The presentation is assessed overall for both content and presentation
skills
• Feedback will be uploaded via Grademark in the Moodle submission portal
for each individual student, on both the content presented and on
presentational skills
The general marking criteria for the presentations will be on the following
five areas.
• Structure: (planning, aims and objectives)
• Content: (quality of content, relevance)
• Presentation Style: (eye contact, clarity, enthusiasm)
• Timing: (keeping to the 15 minutes- not too short or too long)
• Presentation Slides: (clarity, content)
Presentation
• LO1 Demonstrate an understanding of selected issues in
psychology and their application
• LO4 Demonstrate an ability to orally present
material
• You should select a case study of a famous person or film
and show how the topics from weeks 7 to 11 can be used
to explain the person’s behaviour, or the
characters/storyline of the film.
• Examples will be discussed in class, during weeks 7 to 11.
