You should install KALI-Linux before proceeding. Instructions available In D2L.
Open the Kali Terminal (click the Terminal icon).
Nmap is already installed on your Kali-computer.
At the terminal window type: which nmap

At the terminal window type: tcpdump
You will see the basic tcpdump behavior, which is a scrolling list of all the packets going past on the network. You can type CTRL+Z to stop tcpdump.
