Here are the guidelines that must be followed for the paper. You must read about a 40-50 page chunk of the UNEDITED Lewis and Clark journal (not anything that anyone else wrote about them) and focus only on Lewis and or Clarks entries, but NOT the entries written by any of the other members of the party. And be sure to read NARRATIVE, not field notes. Remember a review is subjective, so you will need to report on content as well as provide commentary on your experience with the document. Clark drew many maps; find the map relative to the area they covered during the period which you are tracking in the journals. Does anything resemble what you might find on a current map? On the title page identify the bibliographic information of the edition you are using, and write a caption which identifies the portion of the journey. Exp: August 25- September 30, 1805 – In the Bitterroot Mountains” (or something like that)
