level to infer that female graduates have a lower starting salary than male graduates? Discuss your
results compared to Question A.

A fast food chain wants to know if their two stores, one in the west and one in the east part of the
city, are serving their customers with equal accuracy. In the west store, 129 are served correctly in a
sample of 150 orders. In the east store, 93 are served correctly in a sample of 100 orders. Compute a
95% confidence interval for the average difference in the proportion of correctly served orders.
