Watch 2 entire episodes of the Office – (they are free on YouTube or you can grab on Netflix) and evaluate the ethical implications, apply theory, solve problems, etc. As evidenced in many life experiences, sometimes demonstrating what not to do can be just as effective as demonstrating best practices. You need to pull in support in regards to which topic the video covers from the textbook there are many issues such as time theft, appropriate workplace behavior, downsizing, accountability, gender/race/ethnicity/equality, etc. etc. Identify specifically which clips you watched and then summarize each video separately and identify: Who do the problems belong to? What should have been done instead? What were some of the other options that might be more appropriate? Discuss your solutions based on terminology from the textbook how do the situations apply to the chapter readings? Use 2 other credible sources to help to support your assertions. Is the action(s) illegal? What standards would the scenario violate? Who else is affected by this? How could the behavior be reframed? What did the character do right that is positive? What did the character do wrong and is negative? What could Michael (or other character) have done differently to make it okay? How? Conclude with your perception of how this fits into the Business workplace. Be sure to list the title of each The Office clip and where you accessed it.
