Your role is to act as a Data Warehouse/Mart consultant for a case study. The assignment should be written up as a report providing a literature overview of the project and referencing scripts and other documents, as necessary.

Tasks

1. Identification of data and defining requirements: For the given case study (Appendix A), select a KPI (Key Performance Indicator) and decide who is the ‘stakeholder’ for the project you intend to represent. Detail the strategy, objectives, requirements, and reports for the data warehouse/mart to support the stakeholder in their decision support, using examples to add clarity.
2. Data warehouse/mart architecture and methodology.
3. Data warehouse/mart design: Star Schema design for a decision support system based on the reports defined in Task 1.
