Read the NASW “Standards and Indicators of Cultural Competence in Social Work Practice” (2015) from the National Association of Social Workers website. Compare and contrast cultural competence and cultural humility, describing how they are similar and different. Explain the role of self-awareness in cultural competence and cultural humility.
