Select two U.S. airports, one airport near you and one airport in a different time zone. Examine the airline “On-Time” statistics and “Delay Causes” data. Review the last 18 months of data (in 6-month increments) covering “Flight Delays by Cause”.
Make table displaying this information. Then, prepare minimum 2 page document which describes the variances in capacity and delays. As an airport designer, consider how these might affect the growth of your facility in the future. Make sure you look at “Weather’s Share of National Aviation System (NAS) Delays” on the same page.
