The academic report analyzes what is the true meaning of human resource management or HRM in an organization. To get the effectiveness of HRM in any organization the report has selected one of the famous grocery retailers Aldi who already has set its foot in 70 countries with more than 7000 outlets. The importance of HRM in such a large firm can show the practical impact of HRM in any organization . Therefore the academic report is divided into four basic tasks. The first tasks answers two initial questions of HRM with an overview of the chosen firm Aldi. The first question answers the purpose and functions of HRM in the workforce and resource planning of Aldi while the second question answers the strong and weak factors of different recruitment process of HRM and selects a suitable recruitment process for Aldi. Second task explains the benefits of different HRM practices on employee relation and effectiveness of HRM practices for profit and productivity in Aldi. The next or third task defines the connection between employee relation and HRM decision making. The same also identifies key elements of employee legislation on HRM. Finally the fourth task checks the impact of HRM in work-relations of Aldi.
