Introduction

Understanding the nature of human being has always been crossing my mind since I was a child.  As depicted by Crimston et al., (2018), the moral expansiveness and the Current directional taken in the field of psychological science is understood. Moreover, I have been thinking of some of the problems that people are facing and asking myself whether there can be solutions to such problems. As such, I do normally have this urge to understand humanity in all aspect, that is, their thinking, behaviors and everything that surrounds them. I understand that in order to properly understand much about humanity, I have to learn about humanity both in theory and in practice. With the objective of quenching this knowledge thirst, I have channeled my strengths in courses that are able to highlight me on ways of understanding the humanity as a whole. With the knowledge from this course I will be able to come up with the measures that I can best use to help in solving the human problems. For instance, Duchesne & McMaugh, (2018) which are my key references with regards to the course, I will address the “Educational psychology for learning and teaching”. This knowledge is good for it will help me gather a deeper understanding of the psychology. Much more, modern moral sensibilities are expanding far beyond the understanding of the past generation and through the research, understanding the connection between the way people used to think in the past and how they think today (Crimston et al., 2018). This writing in like this manner will defend the reason for my primary concentration. The study will focus majorly on the leadership, problem solving skills, communication, and socialization among others aspects of human behaviors such as problem solving skills. The paper s well provide a broad overviews of how I will maneuver through the coursework and the plans put in place.

My concentration

Using psychology as my concentration for this course as it will be an instrumental in gauging my mind to discover the working mechanism of the mind. The mind controls everything in that body and thus, if I get the mind all other aspects would follow. In particular, pursuing Bachelor of Arts in General Studies concentration in Psychology will grant me opportunity to dissect into various areas of human study such as the cognitive abilities, behavioral, communication as well as socialization which is as well a very important aspect in human developments. Before backing up on this course, there are a number of run –search that I did to help in understanding some of the benefits of the course. I deduced that the course will add to my professional development as well as to my personal developments.

Professionally, I would develop skills that are needed by the psychologists and will help me in understanding people even further. There are problems that come due to cognitive issues (Mcleod, 2018). In that connections, I will be able to develop my cognitive skills which will be very important in helping me achieve my goal of understanding humans. Behavioral problems have been a problem with many people failing to understand how they can solve these behaviors disorders. Studying the course will help me develop various skills that I would use in understanding the reasons as to why people do behave the way they do.

The factors that triggers the behaviors and what modifications do we need to take in order to help in behavior modification (Crimston et al.,2018). Developing these skills will shape me as a good psychologists who is able to secure jobs in different places such, psychotherapist, Counselor, psychological examiners among other psychology related career.  On personal grounds, I will as well be able to develop relations skills. Taking this course will help to understand how people are and the measures that I can use to relate with people in the environment to avoid conflict (Mcleod, 2018). The interrelationship skills will be enhanced by taking this course.
