Part 1- Oral presentation: Modifying health messages You will need to narrate an oral presentation to PowerPoint slides. Ideally you will do this task in groups of three. The logistics of doing group work remotely are more challenging than when you can meet face-to-face but it can be done and we had several good examples of this last year. If you are unable to create a small group within this class, you may submit this assignment on your own. You will need to choose an existing health promotion message and modify it for population groups with low health literacy. You will need to describe: 1. The key points of the message and how is it currently being delivered 2. Why this is not reaching groups with low levels of health literacy 3. How you will modify the message to reach the needs of that population Part-2 Develop a program and write a funding proposal in 2400 words. You will need to choose a public health issue from the National Health Priority Areas (or another public health issue, with agreement from the course coordinator); you can draw on the information collected in Assignment 1 if you wish. As with Assignment 1, you may choose to focus on one of these health issues in a specific population group such as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. For this health issue, write a funding proposal which addresses the points below. You should structure your plan using headings and subheadings.
