Taunton Warehouse
The business driver of Supermarket X is focusing on continued customers’ growth. The project objectives of Taunton warehouse project will include; recruitments, ambient migration, vehicle maintenance start up, closure of old sites and Tupe transfer.
Expected Benefits
This project focuses on ensuring that: Efficient running of vehicle maintenance unit, efficient routing and scheduling, training of warehouse operatives, drivers training and recruitment, and efficient site operation are achieved. The estimated time scale will be one year; project commencing from the beginning of 2020 to end at April 2021.
The major assumptions prevailing in this project include: No hindrance will emerge and required resources will be available. Major constrains will include; required 1000 workers, retaining much labour as possible and 100 operatives workers from Yeovil to be moves to Taunton.

The project chart will also be applied in meeting our goal (Taunton warehouse goals). The chart will be instrumental as it will project every individual responsible as well as a way of building clarity of leadership to all the stakeholders that will be involved in the process thus reducing any emerging issues of roles conflicts and mismanagement of funds. Communication Plan
The aspect of communication planning will also prevail; this is basically to ensure that understanding between the stakeholders (Supermarket X and employees working on the project), management (Taunton managers) and other involved partners as noted by Cleland & King, (1983). The communication plan will entirely apply simple communication tools such as; video conferencing and boardroom meetings showing the level of project completion. Moreover, other dynamic and evolving means of communication to achieve the targeted goals will be achieved to maintain and achieve the entire project goals.
Work Breakdown structure
The aspect of developing work breakdown structure (WBS) will be instrumental as deliverable orientations to meet the goals and objectives of the project. This will ensure that our project is effectively planned, controlled, close monitoring, and reporting. The breakdown of the tasks in our project will also enable us to manage 3.5 million Euros, to meet the projected goals.
Activity list for Taunton
In this section it is critical to understand every section will have its tasks, so as to achieve the overall goals. The department associated will have to be checked critically to ensure that resources allocations prevail without any biases. The decomposition of the entire project goals into work packages will be applied to ensure effective estimation, scheduling, execution and monitoring, and project control.
Critical path Model
To ensure effective utilization of the critical paths associated with our project, every task duration will be determined, as well as task dependencies (tasks associated with others), and their milestones . These aspects then will ensure that every task is unveiled, its possible time of operations, and its possible impact to the project schedule.
Risk register
The dimension of the risk register will focus on any risk that the project will experience in its operations as noted by Thamhain & Wilemon, (1986). The core indentified risks will be deduced from the WBS, where each department will have its associated risks, and its associated effects. To mitigate these effects thus every department will have its response plan to cater for the risks. The aspect of risk prioritization will prevail whereby risk ranking will be calculated as (Risk rank=probability* impact), and their associated occurrence probabilities calculated.
In conclusion, the entire project will be evaluated after every goal is undertaken, quality check performed to ensure conformance as per the required standards of supermarket X, thus ensuring that the clients demand and goals are met successfully.
