Expo Day (Week 10) and
Problem Solving Exercise

This assignment has two parts:
a) Critique Brand X that is assigned to you (obviously, different from
the brand that you have worked on in the group poster). For
example, how Brand X has fared better/worse in using different
tools to analyse the market situation.
b) a possibly fictitious scenario that requires you to respond (e.g., a
major retailer selling the brand has closed down).
Check Course Outline for due date.
Submit via Learnonline course website.

Scenarios
There are 5 different scenarios, but you are only assigned to only one.
For example:
Remember: The scenario is about your poster brand,
NOT about the brand that you are assigned to critique

What if I have questions for the poster I need to critique?
• Please post a message in the respective forum
• All queries must be sent before 20 May Wednesday midnight
• Students are responsible for answering incoming queries no later than midnight

Final output is a SINGLE video
Start with a very short video, where you say your name while
HOLDING your student ID or any photo ID card
Part a) about 3-4 minutes, Part b) about 5-7 minutes
TOTAL must not be longer than 11 minutes in total. Videos longer than
11 minutes will receive a 15% deduction for every minute exceeded

SHOWING YOUR ID CARD AT THE BEGINNING OF
THE VIDEO.
Failure to show your student ID card will make it impossible for us
to verify your identity, you will get a grade of 0 (zero)

IMPORTANT!!
IF A VIDEO FAILS TO UPLOAD, WE CANNOT MARK IT,
HENCE YOU WILL GET A 0 (ZERO) FOR THIS ASSIGNMENT.
“Poor internet” “File too big” etc.. are not accepted excuses
Use a Uni workstation/PC. YOU CAN PROBABLY SUBMIT
YOUR VIDEO IN JUST A FEW MINUTES!
Email or call IT-Help Desk if you still have problems.
Results will be released online, but feedback rubric will be
emailed to your UniSA email.
