Prototype of the proposed system with attention to User Interface Design (same sprint group/team)
- The final sprint, a prototype of the system, involves the design of user interfaces for the client and staff (except the actual design work related to the design of the animation clip)
- The design work should include series of interfaces for all the processes initiated by the client and staff (except the actual design work related to the design of the animation clip)
- The sprint is reviewed through a demonstration of the prototype.
- Each scrum team gets 10 mins to demo the prototype in front of the class.
- How many team members to present?
- We’d keep it to max 2 presenters in order to efficiently utilize time. You have a max of 10 mins.
- What tools to use for interface design?
- Any free app design tool, such as:

- https://marvelapp.com/ (Links to an external site.)

- etc etc etc…

NOTE:
- All sprints are based on the case study
- 1 mark for Scrum Team management and coordination

| Criteria | Ratings | Pts |
| This criterion is linked to a learning outcomeFunctionality | 2.0 to >1.4 Pts Ace! The functionality of the interfaces adequately addresses business processes The interfaces even reflect improvements to features (better than what the clients asked for) 1.4 to >1.0 Pts Good but there’s room for improvement The interfaces do not fully address the complexity of some of the business processes Do not fully address client requirements However, some of the key processes and requirements have been addressed 1.0 to >0 Pts Need to Improve Interfaces do not address several key business processes Do not address several key client requirements Clients may not be satisfied with the prototype | 2.0 pts |
| This criterion is linked to a learning outcomeDesign (UX) | 2.0 to >1.4 Pts Ace! Design adequately addresses the needs for a good UX Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of the demographics and usage patterns and preferences of the target groups of users Clients will be happy with the prototype. 1.4 to >1.0 Pts Good but there’s room for improvement Design somewhat addresses the needs for a good UX Demonstrates a partial understanding of the demographics and usage patterns and preferences of the target groups of users Clients may be ok with the prototype, but will ask for a number of improvements/enhancements 1.0 to >0 Pts Need to Improve Design does not address the needs for a good UX Does not demonstrate a clear understanding of the demographics and usage patterns and preferences of the target groups of users Clients may not be satisfied with the prototype | 2.0 pts |
| This criterion is linked to a learning outcomeTeam Mgt | 1.0 to >0.8 Pts Ace! Demonstrated good team management Scrum leader has done a good job Scrum team reported progress on a weekly basis to the client (tutor) and presented a team log and breakdown of activities 0.8 to >0.5 Pts Good but there’s room for improvement Overall team mgt is ok, through there have been occasional communication gaps or coordination issues Scrum has attempted to do a good job Progress has not been reported every week, though the team has mostly attempted to keep the clients (tutors) in the loop Team logs and breakdown of activities have been recorded and reported 0.5 to >0 Pts Need to improve Scrum leader has lacked the ability to coordinate activities Weekly reporting has not occurred Meeting logs and breakdown activities have either not bee recorded and reported, or very rudimentary at best |
