Task Length and Weight: 2500 – 3000 words | 40%

Report Structure – Use minimum 6 Journals, not only WEBSITES – It’s a research not website-based assessment

  1. Video Presentation Summary – Students will also be required to submit a Video Presentation (PowerPoint) providing a summary of the report. The PowerPoint must include relevant notes (500 words)

Assessment 2 (A2) requires the student to apply a strategic planning tool (SWOT analysis) and identify two critical issues that the organisation (chosen in Assessment 1) should attend to.

Students are required to critically analyse the outcome of the SWOT analysis, select two critical issues to be addressed by the organisation and justify their importance.

  1. Based on the SWOT analysis, students will submit a 2500-words report which will include the following:
  1. A summary of the information and analysis from Assessment 1
  2. Based on the SWOT analysis identify two critical strategic issues relevant to the organisation. Marks are based on the strength of the argument concerning the criticality of the two issues, i.e. why are these issues critical to the organisation?
