This class is on the History of California. In this essay we relate the history of California in the first forty years of the 20th century to the history of the first decades of the 21st century California. From the chosen topics I have chosen ‘culture’ which is a chapter from our book, which I will provide in a zip file. The goal will be to explain how that historical issue has continued to shape California today.
In the first half of the essay, identify he topic and describe how that shaped California in the first decades of the 20th century. In the second half, show how and why that particular topic has had a profound and lasting impact on California today. Be sure to cite historical evidence, as well as contemporary examples, to substantiate the argument.
