Client 1
Hotel RONA is an independently owned boutique hotel with 25 rooms. Currently, they do not have any solid systems in place to manage hotel bookings. Employees frequently communicate through channels such as personal email and social media. As a recently opened hotel, Hotel RONA also do not have access to a large amount of capital.
Client 2
Coco Hotels & Resorts is a hotel and resort chain operating predominantly in Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific. They have over 40,000 guestrooms and suites across the chain. All properties have highly rated food & beverage establishments on site. The short-term goals for Coco Hotels & Resorts is to retain their existing customer base and gain competitive advantage. They are currently using ‘off-the-shelf software, but the company is willing to invest heavily in new technologies to meet their strategic goals.
As a consultant, you are expected to identify any potential problems and issues with the clients’ current situations. You will need to provide at least three (3) recommendations for each client on how to better manage their organisation with the use of different computer systems and software applications.
