While all of the Tang poets—Li Po, Wei Wang and Du Fu—wrote about nature, their presentations of the natural world are strikingly different.
One important difference concerns whether or not the poets sought to simply present a natural scene or to meditate on their lives and societies in and through nature.
Li Po, for example, often uses his engagement with nature to reflect on humanity. For this response, analyze Li Po, Wei Wang or Du Fu’s engagement with nature in at least two poems.
