Write a 500-750 word review on the film and include as part of the essay (Part 2), by addressing:
• What major concepts did you learn about children with a learning disability in this video? Be sure to discuss key points that are new to you.
• What common mistakes do teachers sometimes make when working with students with special needs, and what should teachers be doing instead?
Part 2: Essay
In thinking about all that you have learned in this course about educating students with special needs, compose an essay in which you research and discuss the following:
1. What are the three most common disabilities in early childhood and what are their characteristics? Provide data as support.
2. What challenges do children with exceptionalities face in the classroom academically and socially? Provide a detailed explanation of at least five challenges and a possible solution for each.
3. How can teachers in early childhood ensure that each child receives a quality education and ensure that the individual needs of students are met?
Write a 1750-2000 word summary paper addressing the above prompts for Part 1 and Part 2 (i.e., including the 500-750 word review of the film in Part 1). Be sure to completely answer all prompts in each bullet point. Separate each section in your paper with a clear heading that allows your professor to know which bullet you are addressing in that section of your paper. Please be sure to site text and outside resources to support your essay and use in-text citations. Make sure to reference three (3) APA in-text citations. Include a cover page and a reference page.
