Management & Organisation Behaviour – Management Essay Assignment Help
Management & Organisation Behaviour – Management Essay
Task:
The suggestion that diversity in groups increases conflict which influences group performance is found to be more complex depending on the type of diversity and conflict. Diversity variables that drive task conflict differ from those that drive emotional conflict.
Task conflict has more positive performance consequences than emotional conflict. However there was no evidence that emotional conflict impaired performance. Overall, diversity of race, tenure, and age influenced emotional conflict but this did not affect performance.
The findings differ from the common view that diversity in groups affect group performance and that emotional conflict has a negative effect on performance. Well researched with strong background in the literature and exploration of prior research.“While task conflict is largely shaped by the job-relatedness of diversity, emotional conflict is shaped by a more complex set of forces.
One key factor is categorisation, the subconscious tendency of individuals to sort each other into social categories, often on the basis of demographic attributes”

Students will view and then critique the interview in the video on the following elements using the literature (references):
The interviewer’s initial contact with the person experiencing a substance-use disorder (the ‘interviewee’);
The level of rapport and respect the interviewer shows to the interviewee;
The interviewer’s assessment of the interviewee’s readiness to change;
The interviewer’s identification of impact of substance use on the interviewee’s health;
The interviewer’s identification of impact of substance use on the interviewee’s lifestyle;
The interviewer’s identification of other stressors the interviewee may be experiencing;

The way in which the interviewer concluded (ended) the interview.
Headings are to be used in the essay. Each of the dot points above could be a heading (although these will need to be abbreviated). Students have been asked to ‘critique’ the interview techniques used by the interviewer, not just describe the questions/comments used.

Develop and document short-term and long-term goals to achieve the change in your behaviour;
Document the positives versus the negatives of changing your behaviour (pros versus cons) – document this in table form;
Describe the impact of the behaviour change on your health;
Describe the impact of the behaviour change on your lifestyle;
Measure and record progress to achieving the change on a weekly basis (in the form of weekly diary entries, not included in the 1000 word count. Students must have a minimum of seven (7) entries and include the dates of the entries.
At the end of the change period, complete a reflective piece on the change journey:

Reflect on ways you can use your own change experiences when working with a person experiencing a substance-use disorder.
All of the sections in the diary and the reflection are to be supported with contemporary, scholarly literature (references).
As this is a reflective piece, you are encouraged to write in the first person.
Levett-Jones’ Clinical Reasoning Cycle – Promoting Health in Extended Care – Nursing Care Assessment Answers
Nursing Care Assignment
Assessment Task 1 – Written Assignment – Care Planning: Individual Discussion
This assessment is designed to measure your ability to identify and prioritise the most important nursing care issues for a client.
Two theoretical frameworks underpin your assignment: Miller’s Functional Consequences Theory to identify the influences impacting on the older person and their level of function and Levett-Jones’ Clinical Reasoning Cycle as the tool to drive the process of identifying and assessing, implementing and evaluating care. Students need to demonstrate how the dignity of the older person is maintained and how the cultural background of the older person is considered, throughout the process of assessment and care provision.
Students are required to review a provided scenario. From this scenario, use the first four steps of the Levett-Jones Clinical Reasoning Cycle (i.e., considering the patient; collecting cues and information, processing information and identifying problems/issues) to identify three nursing care priorities. A rationale needs to be provided for each nursing care priority identified.
From these three priorities, and using the Miller’s Functional Consequences Theory, identify the most important care priority to discuss. The discussion needs to focus on the steps of establishing nursing care goals, taking action, evaluating outcomes and reflecting on the care process identified.

The successful completion of the Business Plan differentiates between students who successfully complete the taught part of a postgraduate programme and those who can additionally demonstrate the ability to carry out a significant piece of independent study to achieve a Master’s degree.

Nurse’s Role to Deliver Developmentally Appropriate Nursing Care in Relation – Essay Writing Assignment Help
Nurse’s Role to Deliver Developmentally Appropriate Nursing Care in Relation
Task:
This section is science based and the expectation is that you have a pathophysiology text book and scientific journal articles to quote that discuss the science related to the presenting problem in your chosen case study. You should
aim at 300-500 words for this section. The aim is that you attain knowledge of what is happening at a cellular, organ and system level so that you understand the presenting clinical manifestations.
Evaluate the nurse’s role in delivering developmentally appropriate nursing care in relation to your chosen assignment:
1. Growth and developmental theories, This part of the assessment task is concerned with ensuring that the essay has a child and adolescent focus. Throughout the essay discussion, it is expected that you make reference to the child/adolescent’s expected developmental milestones at that age, depending on which case study you have chosen. It is expected that growth and development research is undertaken for your chosen case study and you make reference to growth and development theories that you think are relevant in enhancing your essay argument.
Some ideas include things like, at what age do you include a child/adolescent in medical related conversation? how does a child/adolescent make decisions based on their developmental level? Even through your pathophysiology section, you can make mention of underdeveloped organ systems that might influence your nursing care.
2. Family centred care, Neonatal, paediatric and adolescent nurses provide a family centred care model. It is important that this is reflected in your essay and may bring forward issues of consent, compliance and child/adolescent presentation into care. How are siblings affected? the role of the family and the extended family? cultural influences? and whatever may be specific to the chosen case study.
3. The effects of hospitalisation of the child, on the child and family, This part follows on from the family centred care component, where it is important to understand the effects of a child’s presentation to health services, particularly in a hospital setting, on not only the child/adolescent but the whole family.
