This is a Final Year Project for my undergraduate degree. My aim is to provide empirical evidence that the globalisation of the Premier League (and its clubs) has led to the alienation of the local fans and propose branding strategies to change that. The structure of the research sould be as followed: Introduction review of literature, methodology, analysis/findings, conlcusion. It is expected to use between 30-40 different sources/references, ideally a combination of books, journals, articles and previous surveys (particularly ones conducted by the Football Supporters Federation). Terms like branding, sports marketing, globalisation and glocalisation are expected to be used.
